St. Patrick’s Church in Epworth continues to offer free delivery and carryout meals on Friday’s from 11:15am til noon, along with indoor dining. Delivery service is for those living in Epworth with mobility restrictions. The carryout meals are offered to everyone in the Epworth area. For deliveries contact 563-451-3134.

The annual Move for Mimosas kick off event will take place Saturday, April 20th at the Riverfront Park Shelter in downtown Manchester. Start the day off with breakfast from the food truck and yoga at 8am. The fun run and walk will begin at 9am from Whitewater Park, and there will be three distances to choose from. All skill levels and ages are welcome. The food trucks will be on hand for lunch, plus giveaways and of course, mimosas.

A benefit for Scott Schroeder will take place on Saturday, April 20th from 1-6pm at the Greeley Commercial Club. Scott is battling pancreatic cancer. The day will begin with a silent auction at 1pm, also a free will donation meal, live music from Tim White, and a live auction starting at 3pm. There is also an account set up for Scott at Community Savings Bank under Scott's benefit. Everyone is welcome to come support Scott.

Join the fun at the inaugural Tri-State Raceway car show on Sunday, April 21st from 11am-4pm at the Tri-State Raceway in Earlville. Everything is welcome, 2 or 4 wheels, shine it up and come show it off. For those entering the car show, admission is just $10, or bring a canned good for the local food bank. All monetary donations will go towards Racers for Christ. Admission to the public and spectators is free. Free unch will be served from noon-3pm, plus giveaways and activities for the kids. Delaware County Veterans Affairs will once again be hosting their free drive thru spaghetti dinner on Wednesday, April 24th from 4:30-6:30pm at the Delaware County Veterans Affairs Office, located on Grant St. in Manchester. This meal is free for our veterans and their families.

Nutrition specialist Colleen Lawler will be at the James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville on Thursday, April 25th from 11:30-12:30pm. Colleen will be talking about osteoporosis, what it is, and how to prevent it. Plus, brain health and herb gardening. She will also have food samples to try. Everyone is welcome.

The Ryan Legion welcomes you and your family to their hamburger feed on Friday, April 26th from 5-7pm. Enjoy a freshly grilled burger, plus fries and more. Carryouts will also be available at 319-361-9086. Everyone is welcome.

The James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville welcomes adults and senior citizens to their Friday afternoon fun, every Friday from 1-3:30pm. Come enjoy cards, dominoes, or other games in the Hoffman room of the library. Feel free to bring your own games as well, all while having fun and socializing with friends.

A drop in support group meeting takes place the first Tuesday of the month from 2-3pm, now at the Dyersville Social Center. This support group is open to all types of non-professional caregivers. No RSVP is necessary, just show up. For more information on this support group contact 563-690-9679.

The Tri County Historical Society in Cascade is open from noon-3pm every second and 4th Sunday of the month.

Bingo takes place every Thursday beginning at 7pm in the St. Francis Xavier church basement in Dyersville. Everyone is welcome.
